Continuing its steady expansion, retailer Kaufland Bulgaria opened its 59th hypermarket in the country. This is the chain’s first store in Veliko Tarnovo and an investment worth 25 million euro that opens up more than a 100 new job positions. The company bought the terrain at an auction in 2016 and turned what used to be a bog in the middle of the city into Kaufland’s most innovative store in the country, with a facade made entirely from glass, green AC system, free electric vehicle charging station, a large parking area, and other commodities. Kambourov & Partners' head of Real Estate Atanas Shopov supported Kaufland in the auction and then throughout the entire development and construction process up to the launching of the new hypermarket.
