Margarita Guigova heads both the Intellectual Property and TMT practices. With over 20 years of experience, she advises clients across diverse industries, including media, entertainment, fashion, retail, consumer products, telecommunications, and technology. Her expertise covers the full spectrum of IP and TMT matters, including copyright, trademark protection, licensing, regulatory compliance, and litigation.

Margarita works with clients on IP protection, brand management, licensing agreements, and enforcement of intellectual property rights. She also provides guidance on content licensing, broadcast regulation, and collective rights management in the media and entertainment sectors, including cross-border enforcement within the Digital Single Market framework.

In the telecommunications and satellite sectors, she advises on regulatory issues, licensing, and operational matters. Margarita has been a trusted advisor to Balkansat for over 17 years, assisting with various strategic legal issues.

Her practice encompasses both advisory and litigation work, delivering comprehensive solutions for complex IP and regulatory challenges across multiple sectors.
